I have an aftermarket alpine headunit and was tapping into the ground running to it and now it doesn't turn on. It worked perfect before, now it doesn't turn on after I replaced the wire beck to where it was. I checked my fuses and it looks fine. Also the auto dimming rear view mirror stopped working at the same time. Meaning I think the accessory wire is dead because they both run off of it. Besides those two things everything works as normal. Any ideas? Thanks

You probably did blow a fuse, you can't tell just by looking at them. Test with a voltmeter on both sides of the fuse or take it out and use an ohmeter.

use a tester to confirm you have ground where you think and power where you should. i agree with fox, sometimes you need to just replace the fuse even though it looks ok...
