Elantra limited would intermittently start. Frequently the response was just a click from the starter solenoid. Found the problem to be an arch from the positive post to ground. Removed both terminals and cleaned corrosion and reinstalled. Also found that the boot cover for the positive terminal was loose so used a zip tie to secure firmly in place. Starting problem resolved.

2020 Elantra SEL
Purchased this car in November 2019. Lovr the car. But 1 week after purchasing it, I began to have infrequent starting issues. Turn key and nothing... silence. 2nd turn would start up. Took to dealer who of course, couldn't replicate and said battery fine. This will happen in different temperatures at different times of day/nite. A couple weeks ago, it happened and on the 2nd try, also didnt start. But that time I also heard a short engine crank sound, on the 2nd try. 3rd time it started. I have spoken to dealer again, but cannot do much until it actually wont start at all!
Any thoughts?
