I have a ix35 11 plate my driver side head light stopped working so I went out and bought new bulbs but it didn't sort the problem. I was told it could be the fuse but for the life of me I can't find the fuse . Any help would be appreciated.

You can't find the fuse because there isn't one. The circuit is protected electronically by a system called IPS - Intelligent Power Switch. When a fault is detected the IPS automatically switches the power to the circuit off. That makes diagnosing faults much more difficult.

If I helped you fix it, why not...

Just out of curiosity
Is the IPS something that is becoming a trend?
Are all manufacturers starting to use similar systems for headlights??

I think it's the norm these days.

What it will cost will depend on what the fault is and how long it takes the person diagnosing it to figure it out.

Strange how things are getting more complicated (not necessarily better)
They design them like that to try and stop you and I from fixing them. They want you to spend your money in their dealerships.
