Nope. Just more crap to wash and wax around and IMO they ruin the smooth fluid sides of the car. I just park far away and always try for an end spot and get as far over from the exposed side as possible.
Door Side/body Mouldings...?
Anyone thinking about/wishing their new Tuck had door side body mouldings?
This is only the 2nd car I've ever owned that didn't offer them, and other than
my VetteVert, it's only the 2nd car w/out them, in 46 yrs of cars.
I asked the dlr, but he was fairly ambivalent and not "selling" on any dlr add-on,
or local guy that did them...I cruised the 'Net and there are a few, good looking, painted
door panel moulding strips. The prob., as you know, is installation; like pin stripping:
you do it for a living and it's hard to screw it up. Try it once and, it looks like crap
in terms of levelness, etc. And, it's a glue on deal...
Any thoughts?
