I'm new to these forums, but I have a question already. It's concerning my Mom's 2006 Tucson Limited. Her driver side exterior door handle does not work at all. However, it does work from the inside but the lock (the little plastic piece with the red stripe) is stuck and refuses to move. At least it is not the other way around, but my mom has to enter the vehicle through the passenger side every day. Is this a somewhat common problem on Tucsons? I'm planning on ripping out the door panel the next time I see her to see what went wrong.
I thought it might have been the door lock actuator that failed and got stuck, but I'm not positive yet.
Any suggestions btw? All the other doors still work normally.
