Is there any difference between Accent 2001 and 2003 rims?
Hit a pot hole in 2001 Accent GL and bent the rim. Shop replaced rim with 2003 Accent rim.
Replaced tires w/ X Radials P175/70R13. Three tires hold air, one leaks slowly when driving on freeway. Water tank check shows no leaks.
Only leaks when driving, 1-5 PSI per day.
Do you think there is a small difference in the rim between 01 and 03? That would cause a slow leak only when driving?
Mystery leak, that's a puzzler.
Please postulate (?) Any suggestions? Thanks, Mykey

Should be no difference... look at the wheel closely and read the part number off wheels

A leak that only happens when "rolling" would cause me to suspect that the tire had something stuck in it. I've had this symptom a couple of times and in one case, it was a nail, the other was a bolt. The only time the tire would loose pressure when the car was standing, was when the nail/bolt was against the driveway/parking lot, otherwise it remained sealed.

You never said that the 03 wheel was the one leaking.
