Did the MIL ever come on? Low ATF generally causes a slipping condition. A bad speed sensor or pulse generator could cause this issue.My 2003 Accent (47,000 miles) is getting stuck in 2nd or 3rd. When it goes into the proper gear, it happens with a hard jarring 'thump'. I took it into the dealership and was told that I just need an O2 sensor. Is that really possible? I'm new to forums so feel free to email me, as well as reply.
