Hi Im an Aussie and have bought a new Santa Fe diesel. While I really like the car it seems to have one problem that my dealer want recognise thus repair. It has been reported in a national newspaper here that the diesel Kia Sorento which has the same engine has the same problem. The problem is a low RPM miss or dead spot. Doesn't matter if its hot or cold it will sometimes just completely be not responsive you can put your foot flat to the accelerator 3 times before it will finally respond. I have owned diesel cars before and this is not something Ive ever encountered before. Just wondering if anyone knows what the solution might be.
