Hi,

The dashboard lights are not working on my i10.

All the fuses seems to be ok.

I think I found the problem with the dimmer switch.

I was checking it with multi meter and I think I shorted something as now there is no power coming to the dimmer switch whereas before there was 12v.

and before when I switched on the lights the milometer display would disappear but now it doesn't when I on the lights.

does anybody have the wiring diagram please? It's a 2009 i10 , 1.2 litre.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

You shouldn't need a diagram. You've just blew one of the tail light fuses, on the dashboard fusebox...I think.

Thanks. That fuse was the problem.

But also the dimmer switch was faulty as no dashboard lights. Connceted the 2 black wires together in the plug connected to the back of the dimmer switch and now dashboard lights work. Obviously cannot dim them.

Will this cause any problems?

many Thanks for your help
