Hi Guys,

I am in the process of upgrading the audio system in the 2004 Getz.

I would like to ask the gurus on this forum on where to start to remove the dash surrounds to access the OEM cd player so I can remove it and put in an aftermarket item?

I dont know where to start, is there screws holding the dash in? I can seem to find the screws if there is.

You do not need to remove the dash facia to remove the stereo unit.
You need the two slide keys in which "slide" down the side of the radio unit and pull it out.

I also need to remove the centre facia to access the coin tray area beneath the radio/CD. I hope to put another unit in there .. How do you remove the facia and is the Coin tray/shelf removable ??

Hey all...

I was just wondering about these slide keys.. I'm planning to change my audio system and I'm not sure how to remove the stock head unit.

Thanks in advance.
