I have a 2006 Sonata with standard four button audio controls on the steering wheel (VOLUME +, VOLUME -, MODE, and MUTE) and an aftermarket Pioneer FH-X700BT radio. I do not have it set up for my steering wheel controls to be retained right now, but want to get PAC SWI-RC to be able to use my steering wheel controls. I checked it out and it is compatible with both the vehicle and the Pioneer radio.

My question is if anyone has used this product, and if it is possible to customize the controls. Such as the normal MUTE button would be programmed to SKIP FORWARD to the next track or the MODE button would ANSWER CALL. It looks from the instructions that you are able to program the controls as you'd like, but I want to make sure before I do the job.
