I am having constant corrosion on the positive battery terminal connector. It is eating the plastic cover as well as the connector. Is anybody else having this problem? I have tried cleaning it with baking soda and distilled vinegar and then spraying it with a terminal protector. It keeps coming back. I have a 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT with the 2.0l 4 cyl.

Two things cause this, a break in the seal around the terminal of the battery or the battery gassing more than it should caused by a defective battery or charging system. Usually it's a bad battery.
