Hi
I have just done a compression test on my hyundai Galloper and the results are:-
1. 440 psi
2. 460
3. 440
4. 440
In my manual it states that the compression ratio is 21.
I need to know what the compression should be in PSI.
My engine is a D4BH.
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA

Hi,
Thanks for your fast response.
My car is a 1999 hyundai Galloper diesel 2.5 tdi.
The car is running lovely except for chucking out black smoke ( air & fuel).
I have new turbo, egr valve, injectors and wastegate actuator.
Some one said maybe its down to blowby hence me checking the compression.
What would cause high compression?
