Hi All-

I just purchased a 2005 Santa Fe and the light behind the Climate control for where the air is blowing is burned out. I would like to replace this. Is this possible? If so, how does one go about doing it?

Please help!

Also here is the last climate control bulb thread...

The tiny bulb you are looking for is a 97322-33100. In this illustration the bulb is identified as 97322A.

Thanks so much. This helps a lot. Can anyone tell me where the light bulb is?do I have to take off the white backing to change the light?

Mike, the bulb fits right into the back of the HVAC fan switch. The pigtail to power the bulb plugs in next to the switch. You can tilt the panel forward and twist the bulb holder to remove it. It fits pretty tight in the back of the switch so I used needle-nose pliers to rotate the holder ninety degrees. The bulb is a wedge style that just push fits into the socket. Once you pull the lower dash panel loose it will make sense.

I'm going to sticky this since it keeps getting brought up on a monthly basis.

Ok. One more question. The middle fan light works, the ones that show where the air blowing on the left, and the right one for the temperature are out. Are these bulbs the ones that you are speaking about? Or are those two in a different position? Thanks again

Mike, someone else may chime in, but on the 2005 2006 climate control cluster there is only the one bulb. Did you use the -33100 bulb? The tip of the HVAC fan switch is clear and it directs light to the function and temperature controls.

Here's a good one. I was at the dealer today and asked for a bulb for the auto climate control panel. Not available, I would have to buy the entire panel for $320.00.

Here's another good one for you. I brought my SF in for a rust recall (no charge).
This is the "needed" service they quoted me:
2 bulbs $30.00
Coolant Package $340.00
Diff service $190.00
2 front axles $593.00
T. Belt, water pump, gasket $971.00

has anyone changed the Auto Climate bulbs?

I got only so far (see pic) when attempting to change the bulbs for my auto climate controls. I tried lifting both clips on top and bottom, and pulling on front, not moving. How do you get access to replace the bulbs?

I did some more searching and this is the part number for the auto climate bulb,
97268-26500.

Installed 4 new bulbs, they work, got them here 4 Dash Bulbs for 01 02 03 04 Hyundai Santa FE A C Heater Climate Control Light | eBay

$16.05 for the 4 and my time.

All auto climate controls now illuminated. Don't have to fumble around at night anymore!

climate console light bulb

well have you ever seen one of these? These little things are the illumination for the background of the knobs for selecting hot and cold as well as where the air is going. My dealer ship has not one clue. Obviously a salvage yard has one. Any thoughts where to get these?

Best to replace them with LED bulbs. I got mine from ebay seller warden_jp2002: 10pcs T4 Tall Neo Wedge Dash LED Bulbs Green 79670 SL0 A01 | eBay.
Search for T4 Tall Neo Wedge Dash LED Bulbs Green. There seems to be no listing right now but you can always buy them from the seller's website:
Neo Wedge
I first tried blue (because of the blue color of the OEM ones) and didn't work out well, I then tried white ones and finally settled on green which better match the OEM ones.
