I clean and re-grease my sunroof's track once a year. Is that too often?

How do you clean it?

I use wd40, paper towels then a general grease. It gets pretty dirty up there. If it's above 60 and not raining. It's open.

I use paper towels to wipe off the dirty grease and then apply white lithium grease to the track twice a year or so. I then use spray silicone several times a year for the rubber seal around the glass and it stays quiet as a mouse.
