Has anyone here purchased the chrome headlight and tailight molding from Shark Racing? I'd like to know how it installs/attaches, quality, etc.
I got mine off ebay for about 20 bucks less than whats on shark racing. It installs and attaches fine. The quality is good too. Just make sure you have a clean surface and heat it up with hair dryer so you get a nice good bond when attaching. I used a razer-blade to remove the tape backing too. thats what took me the longest, just getting the tape off so you can stick the darn things on.

It does attach to the lense. I did my taillights several weeks ago was easy to do. To me the head lights did not need it they looked like they had chrome around them already. I'm thinking about the fog lights, but since I have a pearl white color I may paint the molding black to match the lower grill color which is black think that would look sharp.

My concern is two fold. First, every pair of adhesive tape mounted rain guards I've ever owned has come loose after a while from being sun baked. And second, I'm having my headlights covered in protective film on Monday, so I doubt this will be a suitable surface for mounting.

I like the way the chrome pieces look except for the ones around the fog lights (way to big for me). I just don't don't want it to look like crap after a couple of years or mess up my headlights/film.

No need to paint. Check out this link on Shark Racing's page...

Looks like they just snap on!
