Well, there is no chime when it comes to the traction control settings that i'm aware of... the little light flashes if you're losing control (saw it a handful of times last year in the snow...), but no chime.
While you're moving... I have no idea what it could be... to hear the chime would be a benefit - but i guess since it's not constant... hard to catch when it's going to happen.
Just some thoughts... there's a chime for the service remider, for the sunroof being left open, the tailgate as well (maybe it's not closed properly)...
