The owner's manual on my '07 GLS 2.7L calls for replacing the fuel filter at 60,000 miles. (I am now at 54,000). Is this something necessary? Has anyone done it themselves--easy or not? Which brand of filter recommended?

Thanks in advance,
Ryan

Ryan, the fuel filter is built into the fuel pump. You don't touch it unless you are having fuel pump problems. Nice thing about most Hyundai's like ours is they built access doors under the rear seat to access the sending units on the tank. You don't have to drop the tank. Still not a simple task.
