Hello all. This is my first post (well, technically my second)
I have a friend w/ a 2001 Hyundai Accent, 60K on the odo, maintained by dealer. His check engine light is on. He is mechanically disinclined, whereas I have some aptitude.
I advised him to go to Autozone and have the car scanned.
Now the second hand info I got is that it is code P507, related to "Idle air control motor", or an "engine vacuum leak"
Have any of you guys seen this code/problem before?
the idle air control motor is expensive, and I don't have a repair manual for this car so I don't even know where it is. Nor do I have a vacuum diagram.
I live in Austin Tx.
thanks for the help!

The ISC motor lives on the front of the inlet manifold, just left of the throttle body.
It has a pipe coming out of it which goes into the air intake pipe.

But it is not even 5 years old yet, just take it back for a warranty repair.
