I am looking for car seat covers for my new 2010 GLS. Does anyone have a good suggestion of what brands fit?

I am going to check the owners manual but I really do not recall anything about their being air bags in the seats.

I finally figured out what you must be talking about: seat deployed side airbags. On the 2010 model I believe they are no longer seat deployed but it certainly is worth checking. Even so... there are certainly seat covers that take this into account and either don't cover the sides, or use velcro, etc so that they bags can still deploy.

What is that "SRS AIRBAG" tag sticking off the side of the seat ??

Here's the 2010 SRS codes for front seat side air bags - NOT including "WEIGHT CLASSIFICATION" system..

Oh Joy, be glad you don't have to deal with it....

The following is found on the HyundaiUSA web site:

SAFETY FEATURES GALORE.
A list of the Hyundai Elantra’s standard safety features reads like a catalog of safety technologies.

You get six airbags, of course, including two advanced front airbags, two front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, as well as two side-curtain airbags11. According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, this combination of airbags can reduce fatalities by 45%.

Then there are the four-wheel, four-channel ABS brakes, enhanced with Electronic Brake-force Distribution. Together, they seamlessly vary and adjust brake pressure to each wheel, as necessary, to provide maximum braking power and to help prevent wheel lockup during emergency maneuvers or under slippery road conditions.

Active front head restraints? Check.
Seatbelt pretensioners? Check.
LATCH child-seat anchors, energy-absorbing steering column, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System to help prevent dangerous under inflation? Check, check, and check.
About the only thing we haven’t included is an exorbitant markup for all this technology. Life may be priceless, but peace of mind needn’t be expensive.
