My 2004 elantra will start and run fine, but will die after 57 seconds. I can even drive 60 down the road and every 57 seconds the car will die but start back up immediately because of the momentum of the road turning the engine. Every 57 secods the car will slightly jerk and the rpm meter will drop to 0 and after a split second everything will jump back on like the car being push started. I know its dying because if I put the car in neutral which disengages the engine from the wheels it will die and I will have to use the starter to restart the engine or if Im sitting still at a light or driveway it will just die. Any info please, this is driving me nuts because of the exact timing of the stalls, im not exagerating.. Im guessing a sensor that looks for something every minute??
