The alarm should go off if they force open a door/hatch/bonnet area. Sounds like you have a few scumbags in the neighborhood that have no respect for other peoples property.

Scumbags don't have a reason for what they do. I have an extreme hatred for liars cheats and thieves but unfortunately I live in an area with heaps.

Yes the light flashed once but the alarm did not go off
The Hyundai factory alarm is very basic. As charlescrown said earlier, it will only go off if one of the points of entry is opened...a door, tailgate or bonnet. It doesn't have a shock sensor, or even glass protection (ultrasonic motion sensors).

If I helped you fix it, why not...

Your support is greatly appreciated

Hold the **** up.

Glass breakage is a common way to break into a vehicle. So why isn't that standard on all new cars?
