Hello. I was involved in a collision in a parking lot today, and I'd like to know the estimated price for repair so that I and the other can come up with proper compensation.

I'd appreciate your help.

If you want an estimate for repairs your best bet is to take it/them to a body shop and get an estimate. Most will give free estimates and they won't be working from small pictures on the internet.

"Several hundreds of dollars.... each."

If insurance is involved, visit the respective dealers.

If not, there are several trusted independents in town.
Tatman's comes to mind; there are others.
They have two shops; one near Parkland and the other on N. Cunningham in Urbana.

For BOTH vehicles ??

If so, that's cheap.
Can't hardly get a scratch painted for less than $500 these days.

Just out of curiosity, where did you get the estimate ?
Not "Joe who works out of his garage behind the house" I hope. :D

That's probably wise....IF you are picky about appearances.
A "repair" would probably never look quite right again.

I think that price is reasonable for a new bumper cover, painted and installed on the car.

P.S. You should KNOW what the estimate covers......not just "think".
