Hi!
I’ve just bought a Getz 05 1.6 manual, and so far i’ve not had any issues with the car whatsoever.
But a couple of days ago i noticed that the cars cabin light, that turns on when you open the drivers door does not turn on.. and also that the car does not beep when i open the door with the headlights still on, after i turn the car of, as it did when i first got it.. i’ve been looking for answers on here, but i just cant find anything that could possibly help me fix this issue. Its so annoying because i now often forget to turn the light off when i leave the car in daytime, and in nighttime i cant see anything 😂

Sounds like the door switch is faulty.
It is usually located in the frame ... low .. near latch.
It sounds like the switch may be stuck in the closed door position.
Or there is an open in the circuit

Sounds like maybe the cabin light fuse has blown.
It's the one inside the yellow carrier mounted on the dashboard fusebox...
