I am considering buying an I10 Mark 3 (2020) 1.0 litre SE Connect automatic. I know all the comments about the latest automatic gearbox not being the greatest but what I am really interested in is how does the 1.0 litre do on hills or inclines ? Thanks

Having had torque convertor autos for more than 20 years had a 1.0 auto Picanto insurance loan car basically an i10. Never drove up any large hills but as the engine has only about 80% power of the 1.25 engine is just common sense it is going to Change down to lower gears. Thus we never bought one, but bought a low mileage demonstrater with the 1.25 torque converter.

Sorry but you are far better off with the 4 cylinder 1.2 engine. I know it's more expensive..but it's the better choice.
