Hey all, I just purchased a 92 excel hatchback. Its got a three speed auto, but near the shifter there is a button thing that sticks up and a quarter inch, tried pressing it but cant figure out what the heck it does, and of course I dont have the manual. Any help would be appreciated

on mine there's a rectangular button below the shifter to switch 'economy' on/off (up is on)
there's also a round 'overdrive lock' button at the top of the unit. (broken on my car )
