why did you even ask if the squealing stop if I touch the brake pedal?, If you read my response, of course the noise didn't stop. I said in the post that it squeals when I brake, and so therefore it doesn't stop if I touch the brake, it only squeals when I brake.
Did you purchase pads or shoes? Is the noise coming from the front or rear. This problem is more common with drum brakes.

I bought new pads. This didn't happen until I had the new pads put on. I dunno... it could be just the type of pads b/c I bought them at Advance Auto, which are a cheaper kind than the OEM brand from the hyundai dealer. But all I know is that next time I get brake pads I'm going to get OEM from hyundai and not even mess with brake pads anywhere else.
Advance Auto has OEM = pads.

Who replaced the pads? Most garages have issues with you supplying parts. Did they resurface the rotors?
