Hi Sages. Thank you in advance for your help.
Taking our 2012 Elantra Touring for new tires my son informed me that the brake lights were not working. They were not - all three. This is what I have done so far to trouble shoot:
Does anyone know where the ground for the brake lights is located? Is there a picture or procedure to get to it?
If not the ground what else could it be. The fact that they worked after I was messing with them, and likely closed the trunk hard, may have given a temporary ground.
Any help appreciated.

- Checked the fuse on the drivers side dash - 15A - its good
- Checked the brake pedal switch - its good
- Checked the bulbs/globes - they are good
