The drivers side brake light on my 2013 Elantra GT has stopped working . It's only the one side. The passenger & upper work as expected. I've swapped bulbs right to left, after buying new ones 馃檨 but the driver side refuses to cooperate. I assume that it must be wiring related, or a fuse, that would be nice but I assume that there is only one fuse for all brake lights.

Any ideas where to start looking?
Thanks

My Sonata had bad connections in the sockets. The metal contacts were bent down too far, and needed to be bent back up and cleaned to connect properly

I had tarnished socket contacts on my Tucson, which I polished with a pencil eraser.

Check for a collapsed contact in the socket itself. Not super common, but it happens. This is assuming there has been no impact damage to the area.
