Hi,

The boot on our i10 just wouldn't open today. The car is only 8 months old. There's nothing in the boot that could be interfering with the lock, and as far as I know, there's no button or switch inside the car to open it, just the button under the Hyundai logo outside on the boot.

Anyone have experience of this before?

Haven't had that problem on our I10, but a Citroen C5 estate I once owned failed in that department.
Have you tried operating the boot only button on your key fob.?

It's a shame that the boot has that rubber-protected button; it's not the easiest to operate, anyway, especially for those with arthritic or weak fingers. Give us a mechanical lock any day.

Hi there we have a Hyundai i10 the boot won’t open we the battery works in the keys as it is new and we used it to unlock the car anyone got an answer

i just had this problem.. disconnecting and reconnecting the car's battery immediately fixed this problem for me. hope this helps
