Hello trevs.

The battery is held on by an "s" profiled length of flat plate steel which clamps on to the bottom flange of your battery, secured with a bolt.

It is NOT the type which has 2 threaded rods coming up the sides of the battery to an overhead brace and secured with wingnuts. Don't use that type.

Look on the front edge of the battery tray and find the threaded hole which hopefully should still have the plate attached.

If it's not there, duck out to your local Hyundai wrecking yard and source one there. In Sydney, I can recommend Mr Hyundai Spares at Long St Smithfield.

Cheers,

Andrew

Note that although the hardware above the battery English units, that hold-down bolt is a 12 mm.
