Ok, so my son hit a curb with the passenger side wheel after hitting some ice. The steering wheel is off centered when the tires are "straight". I say "straight" because the damaged side wheel is cocked now, meaning the bottom of the tire is pushed sightly in and the top out about 1/2 in I would guess.

I took the tire off the car and I do not see anything bent except the lower ball joint nut and stud are pushed inward and obviously damaged.

Can that really be all that it is or should I look at something else? I did notice the rubber boot on the axle is split also but looks like it may have been like that a while.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance

the lower suspension arm is what usually gets bent in this type of accident, it will require replacing and the front wheel alignment will then need to be reset. Check also for damage to the tire, road wheel and other associated parts
