2000 elantra.
Sometimes when i start the car, it just kind of diesels for awhile. If I put in neutral and rev it up, it will come out of it.
also, sometimes(such as idling at bank drive up, etc.) it will do same thing.
If I take car to speed say like a highway, it will run like a champ.
CEL came on last month, I read codes and got TPS switch faulty. so i replaced it, and problem went away for about a day.

today i read codes and got the following:
P0442
P0121
P1127
Where do I start?

well thought id post what happened. just in case someone had same problem in the future.
Saturday Morning I raised the hood with the idea of just getting this thing fixed. first thing I noticed was a lot of corrosion around the battery terminals.
I cleaned them both up really well, even used a nice piece of emory cloth to finish up.
My problem hasn't surfaced since. surely that didnt fix it? did it?

It's entirely possible your problem was caused by bad terminal connections. I'm starting to thing A LOT of these weird problems are caused by bad battery connections.

Check the other ends too. Like check the ground connection to the body, hot wire to the starter, etc.
