I've got a 2003 Hyndai Sante Fe 3.5L V6. The backseats (the actual part you sit on) won't pull up with the tab and collapse. Not only can I not haul stuff very well, but I need to change the fuel filter, which I've read is in the fuel pump. Any ideas on how to get the seats up and fixed?

Just a question, but why are you changing the fuel filter? If it's just a maintenance issue, I'd leave it alone.

Yes it's for maintenance, but it would also be nice to fold the seats down so I could haul more stuff, not necessary, but it would be nice.

There are two (2) pull tabs for each seat. One frees the latch and the other pulls the seat forward once it is freed. I have an issue with one of my seats since the tab there that frees the latch was left down when it was latched. Not sure how I am going to correct this.
