Hello all. I have been noticed a transmission leak from my 2014 Sonata GlS.

I have searched online for transmission pans as I believe this is the issue. But all I see is plastic pans. Is this correct??

There is no "pan" as such...it is a side-cover. Are you certain it is coming from there...more often it would be the cooling lines to the radiator.

yes the side cover needs replaced. I haven’t ran through the system to see where the leak is but we’re speaking of a lowered vehicle that has hit a fair share of bumps.

I can tell you mine is metal and all 3 plugs are metal...maybe you can get one from an earlier model (11-14 are supposed to be the same?).

if the side pan is a plastic one, it have a rubber gasket with it, u can replace the plastic gasket if the housing have no damage
