My Hyundai dealer has been haunting me about my 30,000 mile check up on my 2008 Elantra and they want to charge $299 which includes a transmission flush. Looking at my manual, Hyundai doesn't recommend one until 100,000 miles. Whats up with this? Are the trannies a problem with these cars?

If you are considered Several Driving yea, i would get it flushed or changed. Just check the AT oil yourself. It Should be Pink/red. If its brown or purple you should consider fill/drain or flushing it.
My dealership wanted to do Tranny Flush and Brake Fluid Flush... Brake flush was still clear, but tranny fluid needed to be changed soon. I think they just wanted more money.
