Is there anyone who has changed the fan motor in the first generation Atoz?
As I understand - I need to take out the whole dash first =(
Am I right?
Any quides out there? I havent been able to find anything myself.
Also the resistor is bad - the fan only works in two speeds.

It wouldn't surprise me if that is correct. It's a funny model the Atoz.

If the fan works on two speeds what makes you think it needs to be replaced?
Could that not be because the resistor is faulty? Or maybe it's the switch that's faulty?

No the fan only gets running if I kick it with my steel headed shoes =) HARD and only sometimes it works anymore - so my guess is that brushes are worn on the fan motor.
Today I was succesfull getting it started (it had nearly a half a minute long start-up time) and it sounds really bad now.
The resistor is beyond the fan broblem. Sorry, I expressed my self badly =)
Here in Sweden its called Atos and is very propular small car. Ours is often lend out to our customers, and most of them just love it, specially if we have refueled it, as we always but 30% Ethanol in it.... Its quite a little rally car....
I know, in Indien (where the Swedish Atos is made) it is also popular.
There is a Indian car repair forum but I havent been able to get accepted as member.....

Just thought Id ask - just in case =)
