I have a 2014 Sonata L 2.0 T and was wondering if anyone knows a way to update the software on the stereo to support Apple Car Play? Any help wither eay would be greatly appreciated.

There is no way. You will have to go aftermarket support in order to do that. Current Hyundai Models provide support; but not 2014.
