been thinking about getting these for the elantra (if anything to just keep at the house for the day the factory pads wear out):

Power Stop Brake Kit - 390 Reviews on Powerstop Rotors & Brake Pad Kit

i'v used cross-drilled/slotted rotors on a couple of past vehicles, but was wondering if anyone has gotten these (or similar type) and put them on the 2011+ elantra yet.

If you change the performance of the front brakes, what are you goning to do to the rear brakes? The braking balance will be "off". It would seem that you may be taxing the ABS more. IMO, the Elantra is not a performance car and the brakes are not lacking for their intended use.

I have zero issues with my brakes. In fact, I'm rather pleased with the 4 disc setup. Beats discs on the front and drums in the rears. I can make a suggestion what they can do with all of that old style drum brake spring hardware...but not on a public forum. :wink2:
