I saw some on ebay, and was wondering if anyone had tried them in our cars. Right now I have one 55w HID and an LED (because the other HID died), so my car looks a little funny coming down the road. However I have noticed that the HID is definitely brighter, especially in the middle of the beam. It seems like the LED bulb is maybe equivalent to a 35w HID (it is also a 6000K color temp vs my HID which is a 4500K). Anyway, etc. ;)

I have 55w high beams and fog lights. I find at times they are too bright and when there are a couple-three yellow warning sign too much glare.

Yes I'm currently using 75w ballast on 6k and currently using 65w ballast on 5k fog lights. These ballast are way better than those sorry butt 35w/55w. 35w/55w cannot see anything far but very closely range on the sonata. I think it is because the projector blocks off the lighting away from far distant. Besides the 75w will make the color of 5k-6k bulb whiter. Unlike 35/55 using 5k-6k will make that nasty blue color that looks like 8k type. Once you experience the used of 65w-75w ballast, you will never go back to those weak voltage 35/55 that everyone uses. 100w-150w ballast is asking to fried/melted the inside of the headlamp. Besides the way I'm currently using this combo, it sucks power from the car as you can hear it when you start up the car. You cannot plug in play these ballast because again voltage is to much for the sonata and will need the 40 amp hid relayed to run it. 35-55 can plug in play 65-150 can't without the help of the relay. Keep in mind. I've got 2 set that I've order for my two trucks and you can see everything like having high beam on. You don't get the hid look anymore but like high beam halogen type but still got the hid.
