On our Limited Kona there is a maybe 10 inch square space, like a removable flap on the top center of the dash, behind the audio screen.
I wonder if on the Ultimate they have a speaker in that location?

If it is, and the wiring harness is included on the Limited, then I could maybe update our audio system by adding a speaker.
If the wiring harness isn't there then it would be a hassle.

I'm glad y'all answered him. I could not find anything that told me where my speakers are in my car (I have the Ultimate, not AWD). And pictures I found online of the Limited dash look very much like my Ultimate dash in terms of that space for the speaker, assuming I found the correct pictures of the Limited dash.

Anyway, I think my FCA has gone off once and it scared the crap out of me because the car was new and I wasn't aware it had the feature. Also, when it happened, I wasn't sure really why it engaged... there was a car in front of me slowing down with its left blinker on to get into a left-turn lane, and I admittedly was not slowing, but only because I knew that car would be out of my way by the time I got there. But I got an alarm and my brakes were applied. Like I said, it freaked me out, lol, but it was nice to know I have it. I must have it set on "early" detection.

Thanks everyone for the quick response. The first time I'll visit Chico Hyundai for an oil change, which I plan to do near 2,000 miles, I will ask. If the harness is there I'll get the center top speaker. By the way, if the harness is there a higher quality speaker might be available from an independent audio specialist.

The FCA does not seem to work on my Kona! I have it set on early detection. I've gotten pretty close to a couple of cars. It did not engage. It does work fine on my Ioniq. I'll take my Kona to the dealer next Monday and ask them to take a look at it and prove it to me if they find no fault.

janaheim -- This is the same problem I have with my Kona Ultimate - The dealer had it for a day and a half and said all is good !! - It's not, It doesn't work. My Dealer told me that per Hyundai there is no test to show it works ? This is hard to believe !

After you take yours in please let me know what happens with the dealer and what they do or did to prove it's OK if they find no fault.
When I complained about it not working to Hyundai Customer Service, they turned my problem over to the rep in Calif. but I have not received a response from him. I am trying to figure out what my next step should be. Any help will be appreciated.
