Hey guys,
It seems that android auto works fine, but when I plug in my Ipad4 mini it doesn't pop up the icon app like android auto pops in the home page of the nav screen.

Is there something that I'm missing? Am I supposed to download the app of apple car play like android auto? or how does it work?

I would go into the set up icon on your infotainment systems display and make sure you have apple car play activated.

As mentioned, Ipad's don't have carplay unless you hack them. It's the same policy with Android tablets, only Phones for both Android and Iphone are capable of working with Carplay/AndroidAuto.

Confirming here: When I plug my iPhone into the USB, I get Apple CarPlay. When I plug my iPod into the USB, I get the iPod as an option when I press the Media button (on my Elantra--I assume it would be the same on the Tucson). I would expect an iPad to behave the same way my iPod does. Is your iPad wifi-only, or does it have cellular data?
