I like the blue interior lighting that Hyundai offers but $330 seems a little bit expensive. Has anyone installed this? Is the installation difficult? Which kit did you use? I like that freaking blue glow effect but I do have my $ limits.... I kinda wanna make my nerd car a little bit cooler.... although nerds do freaking rock! Anyone wanna install this for an old feeble woman?

You can check ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Genuin...OEM-For-2014-2015-Hyundai-Sonata/182493197767 for cheaper kits. Or discount Hyundai parts sites https://www.hyundaipartsdeal.com/genuine/hyundai-interior-light-kit~c2068-adu00.html

The install isn't too bad, but the pictures make it look more confusing.. it would be similar to this Mobis Marketing Plattform

The OEM kit is nice since it's made exactly for the car, but you can achieve the same results at a cheaper cost by using some LED strips for $10. The install gets more difficult though as you have to create your own wiring. You'd also be able to choose your color. Blue, red, white, yellow, green, whatever....

Haven't even seen that yet. Where does it go? I thought it was was like an actual ambient light that integrates with the dash. Maybe around the blades or something.

I went the route tenergy mentioned and got the LED strips. Ran them from the the USB through under the console (no drilling) and velcro them under my seats. No wires can be seen at all and I can select the my blue, aqua, or white... Depending on how frisky I'm feeling that day. It'll try to and get pics of the setup
