Hello, I plan on installing new wheels on my RB

The wheels were bought off a friend and I planned on installing them

I was wondering if a offset (E/T) of 35 on a 16x7 rims would fit the car without any scrubbing?

I checked and will probably run some NEXEN - N'FERA SU4 195/45R16

Does anyone know the maximum offset you can run safely on a 16x7 rim?

Thanks!

I don't know anything about this topic. But, the forum has an advanced search. (It's not easy to find. It appears when you click inside the "search community" box. When you get to the advanced screen you can limit the search to this RB Accent forum, and sort the results by date.). This is the search results. There is quite a bit of discussion which might make sense to you.

Someone may know off the top of their head. I just wanted to give you something to read in the meantime.

Try tire and rack, they have an outstanding selection Tires and Wheels....plus see can see what the wheels you pick out would look on the car, before you buy!

This is the fitment compared to the stock alloy wheels that came on my Accent (195/50r16 on 16x6 ET 52)

The inside is further away from the strut so there should be no issue there. The outer rim is 29mm or about 1 1/8” further out so there might be slight contact when suspension compresses. Try jacking up a control arm so the suspension compresses and measure the distance from the outer rim to the wheel well to see if the 29mm would clear. I think you would be okay, not much different then people who run 1” wheel spacers. Maybe roll your fenders if there is a tiny bit of rub.
