I was helping some friends move furniture with my SF and trailer and when I was leaving I was careless and put the front end into their retaining wall.:(

It's going on 40 years since I last did any body work, and that was filling holes with bondo on my first car. I really don't know what I am up against here.

Are there DIY things to try with the painted area or the trim or just have a body shop do it?

(And yes, I know, it is pretty dirty....)

Thanks in advance for advice.

Body paint is 3 parts, base coat, color coat and Clear. Pain in the posterior and for a good job the entire panel should be painted. Paint is expensive too, though you wouldn't need much.

Body shop might be able to do a blow-in (local paint application only) though it's very difficult to truly match the paint. That would be the cheapest, full paint job about $500 minimum by the shop.
