I recently had to replace one of my rear calipers on my 04 Elantra GT, and after doing so, need to adjust the tension in the emergency brake cables because they're too loose. I've heard that there are six screws that hold down the center console but I can't seem to find them all. Is there some other secret to removing it so that I can access the adjuster nut on the cable? I have a manual transmission in case that matters. Thanks!

Please disregard my original post. I finally found the missing screws hidden next to the seat and was able to easily adjust the brake.

Hope you took that opportunity to clean out from around there while you were at it. you know, gum wrappers, toll road money, girlfriend's lipstick tube, etc. Stuff like that.
