Abs kept coming on at low speeds and could feel break pedal bouncing back. Was not too concerned about this but now the abs has stopped coming on and the abs light is on in the dash. Been searching the web and I'm thinking it is the abs sensor ring. Just need a bit of advice on wether this is the problem before I bite the bullet and take it to the garage. Thanks

I'd definitely would say it can be a fairly common problem based on the number of posts about the sensor ring.

If you can get EOBD diagnostic codes read free or cheaply, that should have codes stored to indicate the nature of the problem.
