Hmm, brake lights stuck on.... has it had the 092 recall done, about a 3yr old recall, still some floating around that aint been done yet.. or is the switch mounting loose and switch sitting sideway where pedal pad will not push plunger back into switch to turn off the lights ??

ESC/ABS light, could be because lights stuck on, logic problem..

The rest of your concerns. DVOM is your friend, going to need to probe each leg of each fuse and verify source voltage to verify fuse is not open circuit.

Engine control is OBD-II.

You will need appropriate software to access the ABS/ESC module, as with codes present, communication of shared data from PCM to ESC will be shut down due to system fault, so you need to remedy your ABS/ESC fault, clear codes for fault and communication shut down.

Time to go visit the dealer' service dept... have them run VIN on WEBDCS and check for recalls that may be open.

Go get the thing scanned, then you will know what modules have codes, as with the COMM line linking modules together, if there is safety related fault in 1, it may carry into another module, and then the COMM line will be cut off, since info from 1 module being wont do another module any good..

Hyundai can do a "Fault Code Search" where it will scan all the modules as selcted in 1 screeen, I'll post pic later of the screen shot when I get home in couple hr.
