I recently took my 1999 Hyundai Sonata (V6) for emissions and they said it was reading (Not Ready). I hadnt disconnected the battery in 6+ months. I disconnected the battery to try and reset the computer and the car instantly never ran the same. When i push on the gas, sometimes it goes and sometimes it dosnt. It will rev real high and barely move, then slowly start to take off. It revs weird and shifts weird at all speeds from 0-75mph. There are no check engine lights on and there are no codes when tested, as it continues to read "Not Ready". Any help on this would be very appreciated!
Thanks

Sounds like your ECU went bad. It happens, but not as often as the mechanics want you to believe. If it wasn't ready after 6 months, then you reset is and it runs weird, sounds very fishy. Here's one on eBay for around $80, or you can get one new for your right arm.
