Hey guys, i was a proud new owner of a 1990 hyundai Scoupe up until a few days ago when she sprung a leak!,
it's leaking water, rapidly now, i jacked it up today to take a look, and the Water pump is situated horribly,
but i can see the leak is coming from a small hole about the size of a matchhead beneath the actual waterpump,
the hole looks machined, rather than caused by corrosion,
I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice as to what my next step should be, before i start taking all the belt's off!

i can get a photo of it tomorrow morning and post it up, if that helps

welcome to the forums :00000732:

you will need to take the timing belt off to change the water pump, change the belt at the same time

thanks for the speedy reply :)
i'm not really sure if installing a new waterpump is necessary, as i don't think the impeller has deteriorated,
and i took a closer leak at the hole from where the water is leaking, and it seems from the rust around the area that
it's had a slow leak for a while,
